The Bears on Wednesday signed linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis to a one-year contract.
Pierre-Louis has appeared in 57 games with one start over five seasons with the Seahawks (2014-16), Chiefs (2017) and Jets (2018). He has recorded 68 tackles, one sack, three tackles-for-loss, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, three pass breakups and 23 special-teams tackles.
Pierre-Louis was selected by the Seahawks in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. His most productive season came in 2017 when he registered 35 tackles on defense for the AFC West Division champion Chiefs. Bears coach Matt Nagy served as offensive coordinator on that Kansas City team.
