The Bears on Monday removed five players from the reserve/COVID-19 list: Receiver Allen Robinson II, cornerback Jaylon Johnson, safety Tashaun Gipson Sr., tight end Jesse James and running back Ryan Nall.
Robinson, James and Nall had been placed on the list Dec. 16; Johnson and Gipson Dec. 19. All five players missed the Bears' last two games, a Monday night loss to the Vikings and Sunday's win over the Seahawks.
The moves leave the Bears with just four players on the COVID list: defensive tackle Akiem Hicks, inside linebacker Joel Iyiegbuniwe, tight end Jesper Horsted and receiver Isaiah Coulter.
Bears coach Matt Nagy revealed that safety Teez Tabor sustained an ankle injury in Sunday's win that will sideline him for the final two games of the season. There was nothing new to report Monday on the shoulder injury that forced rookie left tackle Teven Jenkins to exit the contest.
