Daryle Banfield, DL

Played in 29 games in three seasons at Brown, recording 80 tackles, 12 tackles-for-loss, 3.5 sacks and one forced fumble … Appeared in 10 contests last year, compiling 37 tackles, 3.5 tackles-for-loss and one sack.
John Baron II, K
San Diego State
Made 83.3 percent of field-goal attempts (50 of 60) in three seasons, with a long of 54 yards. … Connected on 98.5 percent of extra-point tries (135 of 137) … Last season he converted 17 of 22 field-goal attempts (77.3 percent), including 5 of 5 from 50 yards and beyond … Was named first-team All-Mountain West as a sophomore in 2016 after making 21 of 23 field-goal tries (91.3 percent) … Also handled kickoff duties.
Alex Bars, OL
Notre Dame
Played in 36 games with 32 starts over four seasons, the first three of which were spent being tutored by Bears offensive line coach Harry Hiestand … Started all 12 games at right tackle in 2016 and all 13 contests at right guard in 2017 … Opened first five games of senior year in 2018 before sustaining season-ending knee injury … Graduated last May with finance degree … Father and two brothers all played football at Big 10 schools.

Ian Bunting, TE
California
Caught 28 passes for 313 yards in 47 games with 12 starts in four seasons at Michigan (2014-17) and California (2018) … Played in 13 games with four starts last year as a graduate transfer at Cal, catching 18 passes for 195 yards … Graduated from Michigan in organizational studies in 2018 before enrolling in public health master's program at Cal … Graduated from Hinsdale Central High School, where he teamed with fellow Bears undrafted rookie receiver Thomas Ives.
Jomon Dotson, DB

Earned bachelor's degree in sociology at Washington before transferring to Nevada in 2018 … Played first two seasons as a running back at Washington before switching to cornerback with Huskies as junior in 2017 … Rushed for 302 yards and one touchdown on 65 carries in first two seasons … Recorded 13 tackles and one interception as junior defensive back … … Played in 13 games with 11 starts last year with Wolf Pack, registering 75 tackles, two interceptions, six pass breakups, two fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles.
