The Bears on Thursday signed receiver Rodney Adams and placed cornerback Artie Burns on injured reserve.
Adams was selected by the Vikings in the fifth round of the 2017 draft out of South Florida. He appeared in one game as a rookie before being waived on Oct. 30 and re-signed to Minnesota's practice squad.
Adams signed with the Indianapolis Colts in 2018, but was placed on the reserve/retired list April 9.
Burns, who signed with the Bears in March after spending his first four NFL seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers, injured his left knee in Monday's practice.
