The Bears on Tuesday signed cornerback Jayson Stanley and placed guard Dakota Dozier on injured reserve.
Stanley, 25, has appeared in eight NFL games, all as a reserve with the Seahawks in 2020. He entered the league in 2019 with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent from Georgia. He has also spent time with the Dolphins (2019), Jaguars (2019-20) and Packers (2021), either during the offseason or on their practice squads.
Dozier was injured during last Tuesday's minicamp practice. He signed with the Bears in March after spending his first seven NFL seasons with the Jets (2015-18) and Vikings (2019-21), appearing in 76 games with 27 starts.
