Finally, there's some good news for the Bears' depleted offensive line.
Right guard Germain Ifedi on Friday was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list. Ifedi joins left tackle Charles Leno Jr. as the team's only healthy starting offensive linemen.
Left guard James Daniels is out for the season with a pectoral injury, right tackle Bobby Massie will be on injured reserve for at least the next three games and center Cody Whitehair remains sidelined with a calf injury.
Ifedi has started all eight games this season. He signed with the Bears during the offseason after spending his first four NFL seasons with the Seahawks. The 6-5, 340-pounder was selected by Seattle with the 31st pick in the first round of the 2016 draft out of Texas A&M.
Ifedi and reserve tackle Jason Spriggs were placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Tuesday. The new roster category was created this year for players who either test positive for COVID-19 or who have been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person.
