The Bears received a major boost on offense and defense Friday, with outside linebacker Robert Quinn and right tackle Elijah Wilkinson both being activated off the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Both players missed last Sunday's game against the Buccaneers in Tampa. Quinn was placed on the COVID list Oct. 19, while Wilkinson was added to the list hours before kickoff in Tampa.
Quinn has had a bounce-back season. After being limited to 2.0 sacks last year, he has recorded 5.5 sacks, 19 tackles and five tackles-for-loss in six games this season.
Wilkinson has also performed well, replacing the injured Germain Ifedi at right tackle in a Week 5 win over the Raiders and then starting at that position in a Week 6 loss to the Packers.
Unfortunately, Ifedi was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Friday, joining tight end Jimmy Graham as the only two Bears players on the list.
