I've compiled my annual ranking of the Bears' top 10 plays of the season.

As has been the case in previous years, I tried to balance degree of difficulty with the importance of the play in a winning effort.

The list is highlighted by three special teams plays, including two in the same game, as well as five Caleb Williams passes.

Without further ado, here's my countdown:

10) A devastating block by left tackle Braxton Jones springs D'Andre Swift for a 39-yard touchdown run that gave the Bears a third-quarter lead over the Packers Nov. 17.

9) DJ Moore weaves through the Green Bay defense, turning a short screen pass into a 32-yard touchdown in the Bears' season-ending win over the Packers.

8) Williams rifles a 27-yard pass to Moore over the middle to set up Cairo Santos' game-tying 48-yard field goal as time expired in regulation, forcing overtime Nov. 24 against the Vikings.

7) Williams lofts a 30-yard touchdown pass to Moore down the seam in a Week 5 win over the Panthers at Soldier Field.

6) Jonathan Owens returns a punt that was blocked by Daniel Hardy 21 yards for a touchdown to spark a 24-17 season-opening comeback victory over the Titans.

5) Tyrique Stevenson caps the Bears' Week 1 rally against Tennessee by intercepting a pass and returning it 43 yards for the game-winning touchdown.

4) Williams fakes a screen to his left and then to his right and then throws over the middle to Cole Kmet, who bowls over one tackler and drags another into the end zone for a 31-yard touchdown in a Week 6 win over the Jaguars in London.

3) Williams produces the top offensive play of the year, eluding an unblocked blitzing linebacker, sprinting to his right and hitting Swift in stride down the sideline with a 30-yard pass Nov. 24 at Soldier Field.

2) Santos drills a 51-yard field goal on the final play of the season, giving the Bears a stunning 24-22 victory over the Packers at Lambeau Field.

1) Josh Blackwell sparks the Bears' season-ending victory in Green Bay by returning a punt 94 yards for a TD on a beautifully designed and perfectly executed trick play.
