Top 10: Anticipated arrivals
There will be plenty of new faces when Bears fans show up to training camp this week. Here are the 10 players writer Eli Kaberon can't wait to see suit up for the Bears for the first time.

Not too many teams can say their backup quarterback started in the playoffs the year prior. Hoyer brings 38 touchdown passes in 43 career games (26 starts) to the Bears, who are his fifth team since 2011.

The fourth-round pick may be an instant difference maker on defense. Last season at Northern Iowa, Hall had six interceptions, including two returned for touchdowns. Hall also is strong versus the run, recording 82 tackles and winning Missouri Valley Defensive Player of the Year in 2015.Â

Whitehair was drafted in the second round because of his power, agility and all-around ability both as a pass and run blocker. At 6-foot-4, he'll join a big group of lineman on the Chicago front that will look to create protection for Jay Cutler.

Howard is known as a downhill runner and one who gets better as the game goes along. That should be a terrific fit in the Chicago offense and be a terrific compliment to the veteran running backs on the roster.

The Bears added size and experience with the addition of Massie. He stands 6-foot-6 at 316 pounds, with 46 career starts under his belt. Massie's arrival allows Kyle Long to move back to right guard, improving the entire offensive line.

Chicago is looking for more pass rushing from its defensive line, and that's exactly what Bullard brings. Quick and powerful, he has the ability to terrorize quarterbacks behind the line while also being a force against the run.

Coaches like to say that games are won in the trenches, so the Bears made improving their line play a priority this offseason. Enter Hicks, a 26-year old who already has five years of NFL experience. His talent should improve Chicago's front in 2016 and for many years to come.

General manager Ryan Pace traded up in the first round of the draft for the chance to select Floyd, an explosive and powerful pass rusher. He may not be an every-down player yet, but Bears fans should be giddy for his game-changing potential. Floyd's speed off the line gives him the ability to pressure quarterbacks every time they drop back to throw.

Fresh off a Super Bowl victory with Denver, Trevathan comes to Chicago to be the centerpiece of the Bears defense. Teaming with fellow newcomer Jerrell Freeman at inside 'backer, the two should be an ideal fit in the 3-4 scheme. Trevathan has recorded 100 or more tackles twice in his four-year career.

Finally, Bears fans will be able to see White in action. After a shin injury cost him his rookie season, the 2015 first-round pick is set to see the field for the first time this fall. A big and fast target that will boost the passing attack, White is must-see down in Bourbonnais.
