With Bobby Massie's clutch fourth-down reception of a deflected pass last Sunday against the Giants, senior writer Larry Mayer ranks the top 10 big plays by big guys with the ball in their hands.

(10) Williams finds Christmas gift in end zone
Guard Edwin Williams recovered a Kahlil Bell fumble in the end zone for a touchdown in a 35-21 loss to the Packers on Christmas night in 2011 at Lambeau Field.

(9) Double-threat Flanigan hauls in TD pass
Defensive tackle Jim Flanigan, who occasionally doubled as a fullback, caught a 4-yard touchdown pass from Erik Kramer in a 14-6 win over the Vikings in Minnesota on Oct. 30, 1995. Flanigan had four TD receptions in four seasons with the Bears.

(8) Massie makes clutch fourth-down grab
Right tackle Bobby Massie alertly caught a deflected Mitchell Trubisky pass and dove forward for a four-yard gain on fourth-and-2, sustaining a key drive late in last Sunday's 17-13 win over the Giants at Soldier Field.

(7) Bears turn to St. Clair in the end zone
Tackle eligible John St. Clair caught a 2-yard touchdown pass from Rex Grossman on Sept. 16, 2007 in a 20-10 win over the Chiefs at Soldier Field.

(6) Hicks does his best Fridge impersonation
Defensive tackle Akiem Hicks became the first Bears defensive player to score a touchdown on offense since William Perry in 1985 when he took a handoff and bulled into the end zone for a 1-yard TD on fourth-and-goal in a 2018 overtime loss to the Giants.

(5) Bears go big, send Rams home with loss
On a gadget play dubbed "Santa's Sleigh" that featured six offensive linemen, four defensive linemen and a quarterback, 312-pound tackle eligible Bradley Sowell caught a 2-yard TD pass from Mitchell Trubisky for the only touchdown of the game in a 2018 win over the Rams.

(4) Fridge hauls in McMahon TD pass
Not satisfied with William Perry's TD run in the first meeting with the Packers in 1985, coach Mike Ditka called a pass to Perry in the rematch in Green Bay, and the Fridge responded by hauling in a 4-yard TD from Jim McMahon.

(3) Tractor Traylor comes up big (as usual)
Mammoth defensive tackle Keith Traylor intercepted a Mark Brunell pass in the Bears' division-clinching win over the Jaguars in the 2001 season finale and rumbled 67 yards before being dragged down at the Jacksonville 9.

(2) Fridge becomes overnight sensation
After clearing a gigantic hole on Walter Payton's 2-yard touchdown run with a devastating block, William Perry took a handoff and powered into the end zone for a 1-yard TD in a 1985 Monday night win over the Packers.

William Perry became the heaviest player to score a touchdown in a Super Bowl on a designed play when he thundered into the end zone for a 1-yard score in the Bears' 46-10 thrashing of the Patriots in Super Bowl XX.
