In honor of the World Cup final being afoot, senior writer Larry Mayer ranks the top 10 greatest feats by Bears kickers and punters.
10. On a fake extra point attempt in a 2012 game against the Vikings, punter Adam Podlesh caught the snap from center and ran into the end zone for a two-point conversion.
9. Mac Percival tied a Bears record by kicking five field goals without a miss in a 1968 win over the Eagles.
8. Robbie Gould set a Bears record that still stands with the longest field goal in franchise history with a 58-yarder in a 2013 season-opening win over the Bengals.
7. Pat O'Donnell threw a 38-yard touchdown pass to Benny Cunningham on a fake punt last season in a game against the Vikings at Soldier Field.
6. Punter Brad Maynard threw a 27-yard TD pass to Brian Urlacher on a fake field goal, lifting the Bears to a 20-15 win over the Redskins on Dec. 23, 2001.
