Biography

PRO CAREER:

  • Started his third stint with the Bears after being signed to the practice squad in November 2023
  • Spent his first two seasons in the League with the Titans after being selected by Tennessee in the third round (93rd overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft
  • In 2020, scored his first-career receiving touchdown vs. the Lions.

2022 SEASON (Bears):

  • Was elevated from the practice squad to the active roster ahead of the Week 4 matchup at New York, making his season debut and contributing on special teams
  • Elevated to the active roster ahead of the Week 12 matchup vs. the Jets, where he finished with 34 yards on nine carries while also catching one pass for 33 yards
  • The reception stands as the longest offensive play of Evans' career, surpassing a 24-yard catch that he caught from Ryan Tannehill on Dec. 20, 2020, vs. Detroit, as a member of the Tennessee Titans

2021 SEASON (Titans):

  • Spent majority of the season on IR
  • Played in one contest vs. the Chiefs, recording two receptions for 11 yards and rushing for seven yards, also logging a 17-yard kickoff return

2020 SEASON (Titans):

  • Played in five games his rookie season, totaling 54 rushing yards on 14 carries and two receptions for 27 yards
  • Hauled in his first-career touchdown to contribute to the Titans 46-25 victory over the Lions, he also logged 30 rushing yards on eight carries during the contest
  • Logged a season-high and career-high 148 all-purpose yards at the Green Bay Packers (Dec.27) and six kickoff returns for 145 yards
  • Finished the season with 206 total kickoff return yards (22.9 avg.)
