Biography

PRO CAREER:

  • Enters fourth season with the Bears in 2024
  • Selected out of Oklahoma State with the 39th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft
  • At the time, was the highest offensive tackle drafted by the Bears since Gabe Carimi was drafted in the first round in 2011
  • Played in 29 games with 22 starts

2023 SEASON (BEARS):

  • Made season debut in Week 5 after being placed on injured reserve prior to the start of the season
  • Appeared in 11 games (10 starts at guard) on offense and special teams
  • Made first start of season in Week 6 against the Vikings
  • Played in all snaps in Weeks 6-14 and Weeks 17-18

2022 SEASON (Bears):

  • Started at right guard in Week 1 vs. San Francisco and featured in over half the offensive snaps in addition to assisting on special teams
  • Made his second consecutive start at right guard in Week 2 at Green Bay, playing on both the offensive line and on special teams
  • Featured on the offensive line and on special teams in the Week 3 win vs. Houston
  • Did not start in Week 4 at New York but played 76% of the offensive snaps taken
  • Made the start at right guard in Week 5 at Minnesota and featured in every offensive snap, which is the most he's played in a game this season
  • Made another start against the Commanders in Week 6
  • Started at right guard in the Week 7 win at New England, helping block en route to 243 rushing yards as a team and a season-high 33 points
  • In Week 8 at Dallas, made the start at right guard and helped block for a Bears offense that posted over 200 rushing yards for the third straight week, a streak that had not been reached since the 1968 season
  • Made the start at right guard and helped block en route to the Bears' fourth straight game with over 225 rushing yards, led by quarterback Justin Fields' 178 yards on 15 rushes, which set the regular-season record for most rushing yards in a game by a quarterback
  • They became the second team in the Super Bowl era, joining the 1976 Pittsburgh Steelers, to rush for at least 225 yards in four consecutive games
  • Returned to the starting lineup against the Jets in Week 12 and played in each offensive snap
