Bears starting offensive tackles Braxton Jones and Darnell Wright both have recovered from knee injuries and are expected to return to action against the Packers Sunday at Soldier Field.
Full participants in Friday's practice after being limited Wednesday and Thursday, Jones and Wright were not given injury designations.
"It's huge," said coach Matt Eberflus. "The continuity's there, working with each other. I think it's important you have that. Those guys have played well. Darnell's played well; Braxton's played well. We just have to make sure the whole group, five equals one there and plays all together during the course of the whole game."
Jones returns after missing the last two games against the Cardinals and Patriots.
"I'm super excited," he said. "It's a great week to return, Green Bay week, and [I'm] just excited to get out there and just try to bring consistency and just do my job over and over again."
While having Jones and Wright back will provide a boost, left guard Teven Jenkins has been ruled out of Sunday's game with an ankle injury he sustained last weekend versus New England. Eberflus said that Ryan Bates will start at left guard in place of Jenkins against Green Bay.
On the other side of the ball, defensive end Montez Sweat is listed as questionable with an ankle injury but is expected to play.
"We're very optimistic," Eberflus said. "We feel good about it."
Sweat progressed throughout the week, practicing in full Friday after sitting out Wednesday and being limited Thursday.
Eberflus provided context about why safety Jaquan Brisker was placed on injured reserve this week with a concussion he sustained Oct. 6 that has forced him to miss the last four games.
"The question is why now," Eberflus said. "We tried to get him past the protocol, but we kept having setbacks. We just feel like it's best for us to take a step back. It's always about the player's health and safety. That's why we did it. That's where it is. We're hopeful that he'll improve as we go."
In other injury news, rookie offensive tackle Kiran Amegadjie (calf) has been ruled out of Sunday's game, while safety Tarvarius Moore (concussion) is questionable.
